Custom Domains
Learn how to set up a Vanity domain (custom subdomain) for your deployed applications.
Overview
Kubo allows you to assign a Vanity domain to your applications. Combine your preferred subdomain name with the Kubo domain suffix to publish your application with a memorable URL.
Example: my-app + Kubo domain suffix
Note: This feature is currently free during the beta period, but will become a paid feature in the future.
Setup Steps
Step 1: Select Your Application
- Open the cluster details page
- Select the target application
Step 2: Configure Vanity Domain
- Open the domain settings section
- Enter your subdomain name (e.g.,
my-app) - Review the full URL combined with the Kubo domain suffix
- Save the configuration
Step 3: Verify
Once configured, your application will be accessible via the Vanity domain. It may take a few minutes for the changes to take effect.
Removing a Domain
- Select the application on the cluster details page
- Open the domain settings section
- Remove the configured Vanity domain
- Save the changes
Troubleshooting
Cannot Access via Vanity Domain
- Verify that the configuration was saved correctly
- Changes may take a few minutes to propagate. Wait and try again
- Contact support if the issue persists
Subdomain Name Unavailable
- The name may already be in use by another user
- Try a different subdomain name
